Fulfillment policy

Shipping, Returns and Claims

Effective September 1, 2026 · Version 2026-09-01-v3

This Policy allocates fulfillment duties between independent dealers, buyers, carriers, insurers, payment providers, and Collectible 101.

1.Seller fulfillment duty

The identified dealer is responsible for lawful, timely, and accurate fulfillment, unless a listing expressly states another fulfillment party. Dealers must ship the exact purchased item to the saved checkout address using packaging appropriate to value, fragility, destination, and carrier requirements.

2.Address accuracy

Buyers must provide a complete and deliverable address before payment. A change requested after payment may be refused or require cancellation and repurchase to protect payment and insurance coverage. Dealers must not redirect a shipment outside the recorded process.

3.Tracking and dispatch

Dealers must provide valid carrier tracking and retain acceptance scans, labels, package details, and receipts. A label created without carrier possession is not proof of dispatch. Estimated dispatch and delivery dates are not guarantees.

4.Insurance and signature

High-value shipments may require declared-value coverage, insurance, adult signature, direct signature, restricted delivery, or other controls. Coverage is governed by the insurer or carrier policy, including packaging, documentation, exclusions, deductibles, and filing deadlines.

5.Costs and adjustments

The checkout shipping amount may be an estimate based on value, parcel, destination, insurance, and service. A disclosed adjustment may be charged or allocated when the final insured cost differs, subject to the transaction terms and applicable law. Dealers are responsible for understatements or packaging errors attributable to them.

6.Risk, custody, and title

Title and risk allocation are determined by the seller agreement and applicable law. Tracking or a delivery scan alone does not override mandatory legal rights. Collectible 101 does not become owner or custodian merely by facilitating records or payment.

7.International shipping

Buyers are responsible for lawful import, duties, brokerage, and local restrictions unless checkout states otherwise. Dealers are responsible for accurate customs declarations and export compliance. Items may not be undervalued, falsely described, or routed to evade law.

8.Delay, loss, and damage

The affected party must promptly preserve packaging and item condition, notify the dealer and carrier, and provide photographs, tracking, statements, and other requested evidence. Dealer, carrier, insurer, and payment-provider processes may run together, but duplicate recovery is prohibited.

9.Authentic items are final sale

Except where mandatory law or an express listing term provides otherwise, an authentic item that is delivered and materially as described is not returnable or refundable for remorse, preference, fit, market movement, or a condition that was accurately disclosed.

10.Eligible claim categories

A claim may be considered for non-delivery, shipping damage, counterfeit or materially inauthentic goods, lack of lawful title, wrong item, or material deviation from the listing. Minor variation, ordinary wear consistent with disclosure, subjective disagreement, or omitted information that was not material does not automatically establish a claim.

11.Claim evidence and preservation

The buyer must stop wearing, opening, servicing, altering, grading, transferring, reselling, or destroying a disputed item and preserve all packaging, labels, accessories, and identifying marks. Reasonable photographs, video, expert analysis, sworn statements, and return inspection may be required.

12.Return authorization

No disputed item should be returned without written routing instructions. Approved returns must use the specified tracked and insured method, include all received components, and maintain chain of custody. Unauthorized, altered, incomplete, or misdirected returns may lose available contractual remedies to the extent permitted by law.

13.Dealer financial responsibility

When competent evidence establishes that a dealer supplied a counterfeit, materially inauthentic, stolen, unlawfully sold, or materially misrepresented item, the dealer is responsible for the lawful buyer remedy and related direct transaction, return, examination, chargeback, shipping, and insurance costs attributable to the breach.

14.Platform assistance

Collectible 101 may collect evidence, facilitate communication, preserve records, coordinate provider information, restrict an account or payout where lawful, and document outcomes. This assistance is not insurance, a warranty, or a promise that every loss will be reimbursed.

15.Refund timing

Any approved refund depends on payment status, return requirements, inspection, provider processing, and applicable law. Bank and payment-provider posting times vary. A refund does not include prohibited duplicate recovery or unrelated consequential loss.

16.Market-sourced and authenticated fulfillment

A market-sourced item may travel from an external source to an administrative or authentication intake location before final delivery. Source tracking, receipt, authenticity, condition, and serial checks may be recorded before approval. Rejection, failed authentication, source unavailability, or material discrepancy may prevent final fulfillment and trigger the remedy permitted by the transaction and payment status. An intake review does not diminish the seller's warranties or create a universal platform guarantee.

17.Multiple items, bundles, and split shipments

Items purchased together may be fulfilled in separate parcels, by different dealers, or on different schedules. Each parcel may have its own tracking, insurance, signature, delivery, claim, and return record. Auction baskets, giveaways, and consolidated shipments may be subject to transaction-specific instructions displayed before payment or fulfillment.

18.Recipient availability and failed delivery

The buyer must monitor tracking, ensure an authorized adult is available when signature is required, and promptly address carrier exceptions. Refusal, repeated failed delivery, an inaccessible or incomplete address, unclaimed customs, or failure to retrieve a held parcel may result in return-to-sender, storage, reshipment, insurance impairment, cancellation, or additional charges to the extent permitted by law. A buyer must not use a forwarding service or redirect that defeats signature, territorial, fraud, sanctions, or insurance controls.

19.Delivery confirmation and inspection

The buyer should inspect the outer packaging before acceptance when practicable and document visible damage immediately. After receipt, the buyer must promptly compare the item, identifying details, accessories, condition, and package contents with the transaction record. Delay in reporting may prejudice carrier, insurer, payment-provider, or contractual remedies, although it does not extinguish a non-waivable right.

20.Return transit and condition

An authorized return remains the sender's responsibility until accepted at the instructed destination, subject to mandatory law and the applicable carrier or insurer terms. The item must be returned in the condition received, with seals, tags, accessories, documents, packaging, and identifying characteristics intact, except for handling reasonably necessary to verify conformity. The sender must retain tender and tracking evidence.

21.Chargebacks and concurrent remedies

Starting a payment dispute does not eliminate duties to preserve evidence, communicate truthfully, return an item when lawfully required, or avoid duplicate recovery. The parties authorize legally appropriate transaction, acceptance, message, listing, authentication, tracking, delivery, and inspection records to be supplied to a payment provider, carrier, insurer, adviser, court, or authority resolving the matter.

22.Mandatory rights

Nothing in this Policy limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived, including applicable consumer cancellation, delivery, conformity, or refund rights. Those rights vary by buyer location, seller status, item type, and transaction circumstances and supersede inconsistent contractual language only to the extent legally required.

23.Order review before dispatch

A seller may reasonably verify payment status, item availability, source, address, fraud indicators, export eligibility, insurance availability, and required documentation before dispatch. Review is not a guarantee against fraud or loss and may delay or prevent fulfillment. If fulfillment cannot lawfully or practically proceed, the transaction will be handled according to payment status, seller obligations, and applicable law.

24.Packaging standards

Dealers must use clean, structurally sound, tamper-evident and weather-appropriate packaging; immobilize the item; protect surfaces and accessories; avoid exterior wording that advertises value; follow carrier and insurer rules; and document the item and sealed parcel before tender. Original product packaging alone may be insufficient shipping protection. Collectible 101 does not pack dealer inventory and is not responsible for inadequate seller packaging.

25.Carrier selection and service changes

The seller may select a reputable tracked service consistent with the transaction, destination, value, and insurance requirements. A carrier may change routing, service level, delivery date, pickup location, signature method, or subcontractor. Collectible 101 does not operate carriers and is not responsible for their routing, handling, delays, scans, labor disruptions, errors, or independent acts.

26.Tracking information limitations

Tracking events are supplied by carriers and may be delayed, missing, duplicated, estimated, or incorrect. A status shown in the service is informational and does not independently prove item identity, parcel contents, condition, custody, delivery to the intended person, or insurance coverage. Parties must preserve direct carrier records and promptly investigate inconsistencies.

27.Signature and secure receipt

When signature is required, the buyer must arrange lawful receipt by an authorized person and should not waive, redirect, or electronically release signature unless the seller and insurer approve. A carrier’s signature record may be considered evidence but is not conclusive where competent contrary evidence exists. Delivery to a concierge, mailroom, forwarding agent, household member, or other authorized recipient may constitute delivery under carrier terms and applicable law.

28.Freight forwarders and reshippers

Use of a freight forwarder, hotel, parcel locker, commercial receiving agent, or reshipper may be prohibited or may end seller and platform assistance once the parcel is delivered to that intermediary, to the extent permitted by law. The buyer assumes additional handling, customs, identity, loss, and damage risks created after delivery to a buyer-selected intermediary.

29.Customs, export, sanctions, and seizure

International transactions may require identity details, truthful values and descriptions, export licenses, cultural-property review, wildlife or material declarations, sanctions screening, duties, and local permits. Customs or authorities may inspect, delay, return, confiscate, or destroy goods. Collectible 101 is not responsible for governmental action, prohibited import, or buyer or seller noncompliance; the responsible party bears resulting lawful costs and consequences.

30.Duties, taxes, brokerage, and storage

Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, the buyer is responsible for import duty, value-added tax, brokerage, customs examination, storage, remote-area, and destination charges. Refusal to pay does not automatically cancel the purchase and may lead to abandonment or return costs. Sellers remain responsible for charges and filings that law assigns to them.

31.Undeliverable, refused, or abandoned shipments

If an address is incomplete, access is unavailable, delivery is refused, customs is not cleared, or a parcel is not collected, the seller may arrange return, storage, reshipment, or cancellation as lawful. The buyer may be responsible for direct additional costs caused by the buyer’s error or refusal. A refund, if required, may await safe return and inspection and may exclude nonrefundable costs where law permits.

32.Weather, disaster, and force majeure delays

Severe weather, disaster, fire, epidemic, war, civil disorder, labor action, network outage, governmental order, customs congestion, carrier embargo, and other events beyond reasonable control may interrupt pickup, transit, inspection, or delivery. Estimates will be extended as reasonably necessary. Collectible 101 is not liable for consequential loss caused by such delay to the maximum extent permitted by law.

33.Loss claims

A party reporting loss must promptly notify the dealer, carrier, and any insurer; provide the order and tracking references; preserve communications; cooperate with searches and affidavits; and avoid inconsistent or duplicate claims. Carrier or insurer waiting periods and filing deadlines apply. A pending investigation is not an admission of liability, and reimbursement cannot exceed the lawful unrecovered loss.

34.Damage claims

Visible parcel damage should be photographed before opening when safe, and the unboxing, internal packaging, item, serial or identifying details, and all accessories should be documented. Packaging must not be discarded until the claim ends. Ordinary wear, inherent vice, gradual deterioration, temperature sensitivity, inadequate buyer storage, or damage after delivery may be excluded by the seller, carrier, or insurer where lawful.

35.Theft after delivery

Buyers are responsible for providing a reasonably secure delivery location and promptly collecting parcels. Collectible 101 is not responsible for theft, disappearance, or damage after lawful delivery to the recorded address or authorized recipient, except where applicable law imposes responsibility. Buyers should report suspected theft to the carrier and appropriate authorities and provide requested documentation.

36.Inspection windows and latent issues

Buyers should inspect promptly because carrier, insurer, and contractual deadlines may be short. A reasonable reporting deadline may apply to visible wrong-item, shortage, or damage claims, while genuinely latent inauthenticity, title defects, or non-waivable rights are governed by the applicable transaction terms and law. Continued use, alteration, service, transfer, or resale may impair proof and available remedies.

37.Return authorization conditions

Authorization may identify the recipient, deadline, carrier, service, declared value, insurance, signature, packaging, documentation, and reference number. The return sender must not substitute an item, remove identifying marks, omit accessories, combine unrelated returns, or state a false customs value. Collectible 101 is not responsible for an unauthorized or noncompliant return or for loss after a user disregards routing instructions, except where responsibility cannot be excluded.

38.Inspection of returned items

A returned item may be inspected for identity, authenticity, condition, completeness, alteration, use, damage, and consistency with the original evidence. Refund or claim resolution may be paused during a reasonable inspection. A discrepancy may be documented and supplied to the dealer, buyer, payment provider, carrier, insurer, authenticator, adviser, court, or authority as legally appropriate.

39.No consequential shipping damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Collectible 101 is not responsible for lost profits, lost opportunity, market movement, replacement-price differences, travel, emotional distress, reputational harm, business interruption, or other indirect or consequential loss arising from delay, loss, damage, return, customs action, or carrier performance. Any direct remedy remains subject to the seller agreement, provider coverage, these policies, and non-waivable law.

40.Claims are not insurance

Platform assistance, tracking displays, evidence collection, intake review, or account action does not make Collectible 101 a carrier, bailee, insurer, claims adjuster, or guarantor and does not expand carrier or insurer coverage. Coverage decisions, exclusions, deductibles, valuation methods, claim deadlines, and payment amounts are controlled by the issuing provider and applicable law.
